This is one of my first assignments for polytech. Creating a series of 3 signs out of cut paper, the first one is a phrase or common saying - which I had the most trouble with, at first I wanted to do 'boy who cried wolf', then 'a leopard cant change its spots' THEN 'cleanliness is next to godliness' but for various reasons they didn't translate to cut paper so I did 'when the cats away the mice will play'.


The next sign was an imaginary road sign, so of course - angry unicorns!! Our road signs had to be black and orange. The other signs also had colour limitations of 4 colours (incl. black and white) for the phrase and 5 for  the sound sign. 


This is my favourite one, and the only one that I knew what I wanted to do right from the get go. We had to portray a sound and create sound lines/waves/motions etc that show the sound that is happenings.
